Default necro/ritualist or ritualist/necro

i was just wondering, for when factions is released, what would be better

necros are good for their soul reaping energy gain whenever something dies

yet, spawning would be helpful keeping all those minions and spirits alive longer

i cant decide what to do . . .

I'd say Rt/N when Factions comes out, because like you said they can keep the things alive longer. I think. <Shrug>

A N/Rt would have lvl 18 minions, a ritualist would have lvl 14 (?) minions = ritualist mm deal less dmg and the health boost wouldn't be that strong at all...

N/Rt will be the best choice if you plan on playing a MM. Not only will the lv. 18 minions have more health, do more damage, and have more armor, skills like BotM and Verata's Sacrifice will be more effective. Also, soul reaping is an invaluable tool for MM's. Without it you wouldn't have enough energy to be raising minions on a constant basis. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I don't think the added health from spawning will help very much at all. The difference between a lv. 18 and a lv. 14 minion is 80 HP. You would need to have a bonus of more than that just to make up for the lost health, and then you still have reduced damage output and higher damage input to deal with. Not to mention Verat's won't last as long and BotM won't heal as much. Even if you can somehow make the minions stronger, you won't have enough energy to be raising an army of them anyway.

Edit: And you're wrong themickman, Soul Reaping will govern skills in factions.

Guess you'll have to find out just how much more health Spawning Power gives per level, wasnt it like 3% or 4% ?

the facts:
health of one fiend of a N/Rt (with 16 death): 100+20*(18-1) = 440 health
health of one fiend of a Rt/N (with 12 death): 100+20*(14-1) = 360 base + 4% for each lvl in spawing -> 360*164% = 590

-> Rt minions have 150 health more.

Note: a ritualist's BoTM or verata's sac is less powerfull + there minions deal less dmg + there minions have less armor.
